8 Days of Prayer

We want to spend time growing in awareness of the brokenness and the need for healing and justice. It begins in crying out to God. Asking the Spirit to show us our own sin, show us the sin of our systems, and to show us the evil at work. This is time for Lamenting, Mourning, and Listening to today's pain. This can also be a time for marching, protesting, and declaring the scope and depth of what is felt and what is broken.

To facilitate meaningful time of prayer, we encourage you to use the the podcast United? We Pray. Though recorded in 2017, it continues to be deeply relevant and informative. These conversation between Trillia Newbell, Isaac Adams, and a guest cover important topics on race, our country, and the Church before praying together on those topics. It is powerful and they will will lead us in prayer really well.

Also, you may be wondering how you can structure your times of prayer or how prayer is a good action step when the problem is so deep. Read this post from Brad.

Also, Danielle Bowditch has made this playlist to help us enter this time of prayer.
