At Soma, we are passionate about providing opportunities for our youth to be engaged with Jesus and learn to follow Him throughout the week

Two Groups / One Mission

High school can be the best and most challenging time of our lives, all at the same time. At Soma Core HS, we strive to be a constant during the chaos.

Our goal is to lead our high students into a deep and devoted relationship with Jesus through community, biblical teaching and have tons of fun while we are at it!

Middle School Core is a high energy setting to experience community with laughter, relevant teaching and fun group games.

We want every middle school student to feel welcome, know their worth, create a Godly foundation of their own and know how to share this Good News with those around them.

We want to help equip the next generation to be passionate Disciples

Yes, Lord, walking in the way of your laws, we wait for you; your name and renown are the desire of our hearts. - Isaiah 26:8

Both groups meet Sunday mornings at our regular 10am service time at our gathering space - Musician’s Choice.

Students join corporate worship and break off for relevant teaching, food, and small group discussion. We also have seperate events throughout the year.

In addition, we equip and teach the importance to minister in the world through trips around the world!

Growing Towards Jesus & Walking in His Ways

Throughout the year, both middle-school and high school youth have their own space on Sundays, experience serving the people of LA together, camps, beach days and more. See full CORE schedule or download the entire calendar.

Core Community

We are a tight knit group of peers who grow and experience God's love together and walk through this season of life together.

Core Practices

We learn the fundamentals of a shared life with God and his people to know what it looks like to become more like Jesus.

Multiplication

Like dispersed seeds, we learn how to multiply disciples and continue making disciples around the world from this foundation for the rest of our lives.

Estefania Soto

director of youth discipleship

Estefania moved to Los Angeles in 2020 from El Paso, Texas. Estefania works in commercial construction management. Her favorite thing is to build relationships with others to become close with Jesus. Before coming to LA, she led teams to build homes for families in need in Guatemala/Mexico, worked with a church plant in NYC and served with college students. She brings all of that experience and passion to her staff role leading our body toward discipling teenagers.
